Amazing Spider-Man Renew Your Vows is my most anticipated comic this month! It quickly became one of my favorites, and since a lot of my others are ending, it's now the favorite. I love it so much!
The Daredevil cover has me worried...
Husband and son are reading Optimus Prime together, but I haven't had a chance to read it for myself. The Tales of Suspense is ending soon, and there were some big revelations in the last issue! I'm curious where the trio will go from here. Have I mentioned how much I love the Hawkeye and Bucky combination? They're handsome hilarious together!
Ohhh, I love the Venomized cover with the Statue of Liberty!
What comics are you reading this week?
What comics are you reading this week?
I'm going to have to look for Tales of Suspense. I really curious now!
ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful! Bucky's serious personality is paired with Hawkeye's goofy one, so you know they get along well. ๐คฃ
DeleteI love the cover of Tales of Suspense #104 as well
ReplyDeleteIt feels foreboding!
DeleteThose look fun.
ReplyDeleteI'm really exited for them! Especially Spider-Man Renew Your Vows!
DeleteThe Spiderman comics always seem to have absolutely stunning illustrations, so easy on the eyes. How do you both go with sharing and reading comics together when you both want to read the same one and the other is taking their sweet ass time? Thank goodness my husband listens to audiobooks, I really don't like sharing ๐คฃ
ReplyDeleteWe make it work! He reads a few that I don't, so he just starts with those! When I finish reading one, I add what I have to his stack! There are a few he wants to read right away, but I make him wait. Hehehe.
DeleteOur book tastes are drastically different, so there's no chance of sharing there. He's big on philosophy, biography, and non-fiction. I am most definitely the opposite.
The illustrations for Spider-Man Renew Your Vows are incredible! They're a little blurred around the edges and have a softer look to them. It's not the crisp appearance of other comics. Nathan Stockman is wonderful! He also draws a fantastic Spidey butt!
DeleteLove the cover of Amazing Spider-Man Renew Your Vows.
ReplyDeleteSame! The interior artwork is equally amazing! I love how Stockman draws everything/everyone.
DeleteIt has been too long for me seeing these posts. I always enjoy them so much!
ReplyDeleteYay! I'm so glad!
DeleteAh, this reminds me that I'm overdue a trip to the comic book store with the little dude...
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your haul!
Thanks! Enjoy your comic book shopping with the little dude! I'm sure he loves going with you. Let me know what you get!
DeleteI like seeing these weekly pull lists! I'm behind on a lot of Marvel stuff so it kinda gives me an insight into what's happening. Infinity Countdown (I'm not sure if they're counting down to Infinity War, or if there's a separate event in the comics?) and Tales of Suspense both look good. Yay for Widow! Hawkeye and Bucky (and Natasha) would be pretty awesome together!
ReplyDeleteThat Venomized cover cracks me up.
I think they're counting down to the Infinity War (I should probably know, right?), but I'll have to double check. I've read the one-shots, but not the Infinity Countdown issue. Tales of Suspense is amazing--one I think you'd like! They make an interesting team, and it's a short series.
DeleteLoving all the Venom and Venomized covers!
I'm really curious about these new Kick-Ass comics!

It's about an ex-military single mom trying to take care of her kids. She knows what she's good at, and she just targets the bad guys, but I don't think she can count on luck to get her very far...
DeleteI'm more into graphic novels but I have a paltry collection. heck, i wouldn't even consider it as such as i think I only have 5 titles to my name. lol.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!
I actually haven't read a graphic novel, but I know a few people that prefer to wait on those instead of getting a single issue every month.
DeleteIf you're looking to start, most used book stores have a decent selection! People sell back stuff all the time, and you can usually find the first 1-3 issues in a series.
What a great feature. I will have to live vicariously through your pull list. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you! I hope you like what you see... ;)
