Yes! Me too. I love it when a book's format adds another layer to the story. Have you read To Night Owl from Dogfish? It's told through emails between two girls. While I absolutely loved how the story was told, all of the "Re:re:re:re:re...." made the audiobook a little frustrating. Sometimes there were like 50! It would go on and on until they changed the subject of the email. 🙄 Wicked Things had an appealing first issue, so I'm interested to see how it continues!

DeleteSpeaking of Retro covers... have you seen The Little Occult Book Club cover? Oh my ♥️. Might have to be exactly 37 or something to appreciate it but it fully represents early childhood to me.

DeleteI have never read a Daredevil comic. I guess he always seemed so... serious? I just finished the Black Widow AND Hawkeye series and he was in both of them so now I am intrigued. Is there any humor? My pull list this week was only Doctor Aphra #2 so obviously need to add a few more titles :)
ReplyDeleteIf you want to start reading Daredevil, I recommend Zdarsky's run. It's fantastic! There's not as much humor in DD (Hawkeye is just a less serious character), but it has its moments. :)
DeleteI loved reading the Little Golden Books to my daughter, and she always enjoys them :) It Came From the Sky sound like a great Sci-Fi!
