Synopsis (via Goodreads): Catriona Ward's The Last House on Needless Street is a shocking and immersive read perfect for fans of Gone Girl and The Haunting of Hill House.
In a boarded-up house on a dead-end street at the edge of the wild Washington woods lives a family of three.
A teenage girl who isn’t allowed outside, not after last time.
A man who drinks alone in front of his TV, trying to ignore the gaps in his memory. And a house cat who loves napping and reading the Bible.

I got the audio and I'm excited!
ReplyDeleteYay! I recently received a physical ARC, so I'm probably going to start it soon. :)
DeleteThe Last House on Needless Street sounds like exactly the kind of book I can't resist! Definitely adding it to my TBR.
ReplyDeleteWhoop! The ever-growing TBR, haha. I think I'm going to start this one sooner rather than later, even though it's not being published until September. Too enticing to resist! ๐คฃ
DeleteI really like the cover of The Last House on Needless Street. It sounds good too! I hope you enjoy it when you read it!
ReplyDeleteIt was really good! Definitely had to push through the first few chapters (weird perspective), but it got better and better as I read. :)
DeleteI've definitely been enjoying comics and graphic novels more recently. They break up the intense books I tend to gravitate toward.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!

Yes! I love the variety they give my reading. :)
DeleteSo that first one looks pretty good.
ReplyDeleteWynd is amazing! One of my favorites. <3
DeleteI've been getting into graphic novels recently and loving them! This week a got the first volume of Saga, but I'm a bit behind on reading so I have a couple other series to get through first. I'm currently reading the Sandman comics by Neil Gaiman and I want to read Uzumaki next (:
ReplyDeleteI've heard really good things about Saga. It's on my list! Haven't read the Sandman comics by Gaiman, but his stuff is really hit or miss for me.
